Afew continue their 10th anniversary celebrations by teaming up with Danish Sportswear brand Hummel. Working on Hummel’s archive long distance runner the Marathona, Afew channel their inner child with the shoe focusing on carefree life and reminding us all not lose sight of our dreams in the everyday grind.
The upper sees Afew spec up the materials opting to use a luxurious mix of suedes, nubuck & old school open mesh used to maximum effect as always. So, expect luscious perforated panels, smooth overlays and great attention to detail. Speaking of attention to detail, its perhaps the shoes strongest suit. Boasting details everywhere from handprint style stamps on the heel to ‘letter block’ style lace locks, custom ‘dream’ inspired footbeds, co-branded tongue labels & a Hummel x Afew collaborative box complete with a branded colouring in set.
